    Hi Guys,
I'm looking for way to change package color in designer.
I know it can be done as i've seen that while using CrossVista plugin Package color changes to Green/Red/Grey as per their sync status. But i don't know the place where these changes need to be placed.

    Please help me with it.

    Thanks,

    Hi Kartikey,

In Designer view we can change colors and Fonts.
In Designer: Window > Preferences > Software AG > Process Development > Appearance > Colors And Fonts.

Here we can see default colours and Font size and style. we can choose colors of Swimlanes,Swimlanes Labels,Pool Labels,Subprocesses,Notes. Default activity/event Label font style, Default transition Label font style, Default annotation/note Label Font style.

    Thank you!!!

Why would you change the color of the package? Do you have a business need?

@pavanarab, This will not change the color of packages in Designer. The setting which you have mentioned, it will change the color and fonts for Process/Task created.

    Hi Mahesh@idn,
We need this to distinguish between different env. and instances of webmethods.
this is not a business requirement but much needed to-do for us.

    Thanks.

For differentiating your IS environments you can have a color tab on the top of your IS page.

Say Red for Prod, Blue for Developer

I am still not sure why would you have a color for specific package. In webMethods out of the box this is not available. May be you have to explore some private API's which is not documented in empower.

And also you can raise a feature request on SAG Brain Storm.

It is not recommended to connect to Prod/Pre-Prod environments from Designer/Developer
