Topic: Access Denied exception
Recently I have been learning about the s3 glacier and been trying to upload files to the glacier service. I successfully created a vault in the region us-east-2(ohio). Now i typed the following command by using my aws identity and my default region name is the same as that of the vault.
aws glacier upload-archive --account-name - --vault-name (name of vault) --body ./destination/some_file
Encountered the following error after this, please recommend a solution
An error occurred (AccessDeniedException) when calling the UploadArchive operation: User: arn:aws:iam::(some number):user/username is not authorized to perform: glacier:UploadArchive on resource: arn:aws:glacier:us-east-2:(same number as above):vaults/vault_name
